Privacy

The short version

Minutehand is built so that your voice and notes never need to leave your devices. Recording, transcription, speaker detection, summaries and mind maps all run on your iPhone. There is no server, no account and no analytics tracking what you say.

What we collect

We do not collect your recordings, transcripts or memos. They are stored in your iPhone's local storage and in your personal iCloud account if you have iCloud Backup or iCloud Drive enabled. We cannot access them.

The only information that may reach us is what you choose to send by email when you contact support or join the beta. That typically includes your email address and the contents of your message.

On-device processing

Minutehand uses Apple's on-device speech recognition, Apple Intelligence and a local Whisper model to turn audio into text and structure. None of this audio is sent to us or to a third-party AI service. The app works in airplane mode.

iCloud and sharing

When you export a memo, you choose where it goes: Messages, Mail, Files, Reminders or another app. Minutehand does not upload exports automatically. If you save a file to iCloud Drive, Apple's iCloud terms apply.

Apple-required disclosures

On iOS, Minutehand may request access to the microphone, speech recognition and your calendar. These permissions are optional and are used only to record audio, improve transcription and tag memos with the meeting you are in. You can revoke them anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security.

Cookies and analytics

This marketing website does not use tracking cookies. We do not run analytics on the app itself, so there is no behavioral tracking of your recordings or usage.

Children

Minutehand is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
